I think I have some free time to update my blog and as promised from my previous entry I’ll be talking about basketball. Well, I’ll somehow brag about my NBA Fantasy League that I’m currently playing. Under commissioner Paolo – after one month of NBA Basketball I’m sitting at solo third place with 38-22-0 W-L-T mark. Week one was a disappointed losing to Bano – team by Paolo by 7-8 but things have turned up since trading Kevin Garnett to Dirk Nowitzki. I decided to trade Garnett knowing that he is not a fantasy God anymore – meaning he will not rack up the usual stats that he was used doing back in his Minnesota T’Wolves days. Luckily, trade pushed through and things changed since I acquired Dirk. I’ve won the last 3 weeks in our head-to-head match-up trouncing my opponents 10-5 twice and 11-4 in our 15 stat scoring. I needed a scorer, a 3-point specialist, a player who has a high field goal percentage and does have a high percentage in the foul line that’s why I chose Dirk. Dirk is the heart and soul of the Mavericks, if he has an off-night expect Dallas would lose but when his A-game is on you know what will happen plus add to the fact that I also own Jason Kidd -Mr. Triple-Double. In every night that he plays, there’s a 60-70% that he might end up in triple-double stats.
Here’s the list of my current players:
I think I have a solid and balanced line-up starting from the point- guard position having four PG’s to play. For the two spot, I have the services of 3-point shooters Quentin Richardson and Mike Miller. Going to my small forward position I have three role players Prince, Arthur of Memphis and Randolph of GSW. My frontcourt will be the key to my success in this NBA Fantasy League as Pau Gasol, Rasho Nesterovic and Al Horford will have to work doubly hard to get rebounds and block shots. Injury to any of my players will sure hurt my campaign but hopefully things will go on my side this season.

SER. Merry Christmas!
